SEGRO renames its parks in CEE

 SEGRO, the Europe’s leading industrial REIT, announced the renaming of its projects in Poland and Czech Republic. From 1 December two CEE projects will change their names to better reflect the type of industrial activity that operates at each of these locations.

Two of SEGRO’s parks in Central Europe are undergoing the renaming process.
From 1 December 2011, SEGRO’s facilities in Prague will be known as SEGRO Logistics Park Prague
and the park located in Lodz will be known as SEGRO Business Park Lodz.

Bozena Krawczyk, SEGRO’s Investment Director commented: “We have started the renaming process to give our customers and potential customers more facts on the crucial features of each of our parks.  Gradual change will allow the market to become accustomed to the new names. So far, most of SEGRO developments in Central Europe have been operating under the brand Tulipan Park but from a marketing point of view it’s much clearer  when they bear the name of our company.”

The renaming process started in Poland with launching the development of SEGRO Business Park Gliwice. Currently, all new investments are named according to a new naming protocol, e.g. SEGRO Logistics Park Gdańsk, SEGRO Industrial Park Tychy.

 SEGRO Business Park Lodz is one of the best located distribution parks in Poland. It is situated just 6 kilometres from the city centre adjacent to the Rokicinska street, which is one of Łódź’s main thoroughfares, 15 kilometres away from the communication node with the new A2 highway and only 2 kilometres from the future junction with the A1 motorway connecting Gdansk, Lodz and Katowice. Upon its completion, SEGRO Business Park Łódź will deliver 55,000 sq m of modern space.

 SEGRO Logistics Park Prague is strategically located on 70 hectare site in the western part of Prague.  The investment offers 70,000 sq m of modern warehouse and light industrial space (big box and small box). Situated adjacent to the R6 highway (Prague – Karlovy Vary) and close to Prague Ring Road (great connection to the D5 and D1 highways), as well as Ruzyně airport, the investment provides excellent transport connections. Upon its completion, SEGRO Logistics Park Prague will deliver approximately 250,000 sq m of modern business space to the Czech warehouse property market.
