    Historical Prsentation

    Mlodziejowski Palace was built in the second half of the 17th century. At first, it belonged to Stanislaw Morsztyn, the Voivode of Mazovia. It owes its current name to the Bishop of Przemyslaw, Andrzej Mlodziejowski, who carried out a thorough renovation of the palace from 1766 to 1771. During the Kosciuszki Uprising, the building was destroyed. At the beginning of the 19th century, it was rebuilt in a Classicist style by Count Feliks Potocki. Frederic Chopin gave his first concerts here. During the Second World War, the Palace was utterly ruined. In 1957, it was rebuilt in its 18th-century form - as it had looked in the times of Bishop Andrzej Mlodziejowski
